The fact that he's called it a "beauty pageant" is, in and of itself, cool as hell. The fact that I'm a contestant is just downright friggin' A!

And am I totally freaking out unnecessarily over an online beauty pageant nomination by a fellow-blogger? You bet your sweet pattootie I am!!
When I called my sister to tell her of my nomination, she asked what picture was used. I said, "Remember when we went to Branson and you took that picture of me looking like a crazy she-pirate?" She groaned and said, "Oh man...could you at least email the guy and ask him if you can submit a different picture?"
Nah. I kinda like it. Otherwise I wouldn't have used it as my profile pic, right?
So here's what I'm asking -
