I have been meaning to post these pictures of the playhouse's progress for a few days, but just haven't had time. They're working fast and furious on it today to get it roofed and sided because we're supposed to get at least three days worth of rain starting Sunday.
This is what it looked like when they pulled the trailer in last Friday. I thought there was no way a playhouse was going to come from that. And truthfully, it hasn't - they kind of forgot a bunch of lumber. I can see missing one or two boards, but they missed like 40. Oh well. They're getting 'er done, I guess.

This is what Sunday brought: one wall and a floor!!
***************
By Monday, this was the monstrosity they had constructed in my side yard.
***************
By yesterday it was starting to look more like an actual something. I'm obviously not a patient person.
****************
Here's the view from the front. Sam has been so cute through this whole construction event. He held boards for Mark yesterday while he sawed them and Mark let him write his name on one. Talk about proud!!!

By this evening I will have more, I'm sure. Then progress will be on hold for a few days.
I was born a semi-diva. I married a redneck. Through the magic of osmosis or just because of a serious lack of sophistication over the years I have found a balance of the two that make me who I am today. And then I write about it all, much to the chagrin of my mother.
